| Shanghai Chemical Industry District, facing Hangzhou Gulf in the south and with a planning area of 29.4 km2, is a newly built large-scale petrochemical and fine chemical production base of Shanghai, where huge oceangoing vessels can berth directly. In the district, utility service "islands" have been established, centralizing the supply of water, power, steam and industrial gases and the service of wastewater treatment, large storage tanks and docking. A series of large-scale petrochemical installations including a 0.9 million ton of ethylene/year equipment will be set up in the district. Huayi Group will invest here in the construction of numerous projects including PVC, caustic soda, PC, bisphenol A, PC blends, MDI, TDI, aniline, nitrobenzene, nitric acid and etc. |
