Wujing Chemical Industry Base |

| This base began its construction in 1950s. It is a large-scale production base with a planning area of 4.6 km2 equipped with a series of infrastructures including the supply of water, power, steam and industrial gases, a special dock and a special railway as well as a railway station for transfer of chemicals, tanks for different chemicals and pipelines for ethylene and natural gas. At present, there are quite a few large-scale plants in the base, such as Texaco gasifiers using clean coal technology and production lines for acetic acid, methanol, formaldehyde, caustic soda, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, PVC, fluororesin, fluororubber and etc. The base well satisfies the essential requirements of chemical production. In the near future, Huayi Group will set up new plants in the district for the production of PMMA, ABS and other special resins and increase the production of acetic acid, methanol and PVC to 1 million ton each per annum. |
